Kappa Delta Theta Sorority, Inc., is a non-collegiate, multicultural organization social-based sorority that caters to Plus Sized Women founded on the principles of Unity, Love, Honesty, and Respect. Becoming a Divine Diva of Kappa Delta Theta is a lifelong Commitment. Each Divine Diva plays a very vital role in making Kappa Delta Theta thrive in the Community.

Membership Requirements
“What are the membership requirements of Kappa Delta Theta?”
To become a member of Kappa Delta Theta Sorority, Inc.™, pledges must exemplify the highest standards of our Sisterhood and adhere to our Six Core Principles. Each member is expected to Uphold the Values of Integrity, Respect, and Commitment.
Requirements:

Age Requirement: Must be 21 years of age or older.

Gender Requirement: Must be a Natural-Born Female.

Size Requirement: Must be a size 10 or larger.

Application: Must complete an official membership application.

Community Service: Must be willing to engage in community service and contribute to the betterment of others.

Respect for Leadership: Must show respect for the Executive Board and all members of KDT.

Professional Conduct: Must conduct oneself with Klass (Grace and Dignity) at all times.

Financial Commitment: Must pay the application fee and any applicable membership fees.

Confidentiality: All KDT information is esoteric (confidential).

A. Yes, Kappa Delta Theta Sorority, Inc.™ has a strict anti-hazing policy. We are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all of our members. Hazing of any form is not tolerated, and we prioritize the well-being and dignity of every sister in our sisterhood.

A. Membership in Kappa Delta Theta Sorority, Inc.™ is by invitation only. Interested individuals are welcome to complete an interest application, and a member of our Membership Committee will reach out to you to guide you through the process.

A. Kappa Delta Theta has members in North Carolina, Georgia, California, Alabama, Louisiana, South Carolina, and Virginia. We are newly emerging and are now taking interest applications.

Q. Do you have a Pledge Intake Process?
A. Yes, Kappa Delta Theta Sorority, Inc.™ has an Intake Process. All new interests will go through this process to fulfill the requirements of becoming a sister. The purpose of this process is to clearly distinguish between active members of our sisterhood and those who are seeking membership. It is a respectful and structured process—never demeaning—and we do not tolerate any form of hazing. Our commitment is to ensure that every woman feels valued, regardless of her membership status.
Q. How long is the Pledge Intake Process?
A. The Pledge Intake Process lasts between 8 to 10 weeks. Sessions are held once a week, and a full schedule will be provided to you during your initial meeting.
Q. How will we meet for the Pledge Intake Process?
A. Meetings for the Pledge Intake Process are conducted virtually through Zoom and Google Meet. Additionally, we use our Diva's Den group and chat on Facebook for ongoing communication and support.
