Our History

Kappa Delta Theta also known as “KDT” was founded by 3 Women who had a vision of creating a Plus Size Sorority. They wanted to create a Sisterhood that would promote Body Positivity and Boost Women in their perspective communities' confidence wherein they’d know their self-worth, learn to love themselves no matter what their body looked like, and believe that they didn’t have to be a fashion model shape to be beautiful. Although the journey was not an overnight job, they put their blood, sweat, and tears into KDT to this moment in time, and Herstory was made. We are Kappa Delta Theta on the move Catch the Wave

As a sisterhood, we are committed to nurturing every woman's unique identity, embracing her strengths and imperfections alike.

We strive to inspire Plus-size Women and Teenagers to embody Grace and Poise, Build self-Esteem, and Create a Supportive Community where every Member feels Seen, Valued, and Uplifted. Together, we Champion Individuality, Foster Growth, and Pave the Way for Empowered Lives and Lasting Connections.
